Not only does nature offer interesting species and subspecies of plants for our gardens and parks, but many mutations and forms also offer a wider range of shapes and shades that are of interest to both plant collectors and for use in plant combinations even for the most demanding clients.
The wild onion, Allium montanum is interesting because of its good adaptation to poor and dry soil. In nature we mostly find these plants in a cool pink shade with a touch of lavender purple. I have managed to find a version in almost completely white color, in very light pink (shade of apple blossoms) and in darker or more intensely colored version in a cooler pink shade.
