The owners of the suburban garden wanted a more varied and sustainable part of the garden with a touch of the Mediterranean. Since this part of the garden was already separated from the rest of the garden by a hedge, it was easier to create this somewhat special atmosphere, which I would not have expected or designed in the Maribor area. The English lawn was thus replaced by a sandy surface with round metal foot plates and a larger round area for sitting, and the surface was planted with plants that are of Mediterranean origin or simply resemble Mediterranean growth and require very little maintenance.
