The older garden was well planted with ornamentals and fruit trees, but lacked some additional content for a truly full and seasonally interesting look. The owners of the garden asked me for an upgrade in the form of beds of herbaceous perennials. I placed the plantings after careful consideration so as not to lose the sense of spaciousness and airiness of the garden. All plantings are well adapted to drought, do not require much care and attract butterflies and bees.
