Modern house on the edge of the village, near Ljubljana

A common example of a modern family house in the countryside requires a thoughtful approach, as the gardens open to the landscape communicate with it and require a connection, while at the same time it is necessary to take into account modern architectural features and a modern lifestyle.
So, in this case, we set up a hedge in a special, less classic way, which is represented by a set of various shaped, but above all, free-growing shrubs and ornamental grasses. This also softened the feeling of emptiness that arose with the desired larger lawn in the middle of the garden. We have not completely given up on the classic hedge. I placed the clipped yew in a diagonal position and thus we got a special green structure of the garden, which introduces an interesting motif, which connects the modern with the traditional and with formality brings some order to the softness and seemingly spontaneous planting of the border of the land.
