Alpine Wilderness (Kranjska Gora, Slovenia)

This was a special project in which the owners wanted to plant as much of the area as possible with perennials, which would give the impression of wildlife, and the largest share of species would have to be indigenous. In collaboration with ProPepa company I prepared a list of plants that included also some rare and very special plants from our mountains, while also adding some “garden” perennials to achieve a nicer effect for the longest possible time of the year. The goal of this planting design was to create a fairly stable compositions of plants that change over the year, but in the course of time change the structure according to the natural processes of competition, creating a changing appearance that grows with man.
